Ice Cream Social
Every year on the first Saturday of August, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church hosts an annual Ice Cream Social. The evening is filled with delicious food and homemade ice cream with flavors ranging from buttered pecan, peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and pineapple. The Bill Clinton Band also makes an appearance, helping to make it a foot stopping good time.
Apple Dumplings
Every October, our church congregation gets together to make flaky, sticky dumplings stuffed with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and crisp apples. View the calendar to find out when you can get your hands on some of our delectable apple dumplings.
Chicken BBQ Dinner
Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church’s annual Chicken BBQ Dinner is held at the beginning of June. The delicious meal includes chicken, a baked potato, spiced cabbage, and dessert.

Our homemade fausnacht’s will brighten your Fat Tuesday. These golden treats are powered to perfection and made with traditional mashed potatoes, making them dense and even more delicious.
Pastie Sale
Our delicious homemade pasties are baked to perfection in a flaky crust and loaded with meat, potatoes, and onions. These hearty pastries serve as a delicious meal and are sold the months of March, April, May, September, and October.
Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner
Our annual Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner is a delicious and fun time for all. The family style meal is complete with corned beef, cabbage, carrots, beets, potatoes, apple sauce and cherry crumb pie with vanilla ice cream.
